Lakepoint Resort State Park Community Volunteer Day
Lakepoint Resort State Park is hosting a community volunteer day on May 16th to remove invasive Chinese Tallow Trees from the park. These trees are shading out native plants and limiting diversity in our wetlands. I have made a few info graphics (attached) that explain the damage this invasive tree causes and how to identify it. My hopes are to get people familiar with the trees and to foster a sense of stewardship that will compel the people of Eufaula to get out and volunteer with us. Event Details:
