ADOR Offering Free Tax Workshop to Business Owners
Are you a new or current business owner with tax questions? Mark your calendar and attend the Alabama Department of Revenue’s free Business Workshop scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at 3 p.m., in Eufaula.

The workshop will be held at the Eufaula Police Department Complex (in the courtroom), at 545 E. Barbour St., in Eufaula.
The free workshop will cover a variety of state tax information topics, including employer withholding taxes, state and local sales taxes, property taxes, and business licensing requirements. An overview of Alabama’s business tax electronic filing programs will also be presented. Existing business owners are also invited to attend this free workshop. This is a great opportunity to keep business owners up to date with law changes, and it gives them a chance to ask experts particular questions relating to their business.
ADOR presenters will also provide workshop participants with information about Alabama’s new ONE SPOT, a free Internet filing and payment portal that allows business taxpayers to file and pay state, county, and city sales, use, and rental taxes all in one place
